International affiliates sometimes get a bit of a raw deal. Clickbank, for example, allows direct deposit only AFTER you’ve received 3 paper cheques in the course of a 90 day period. One problem with that. Try to cash a US$ cheque over here in Australia and you get charged like a wounded bull. Last time I tried it cost me $50, and even then they returned the cheque since there was some condition on it that meant it couldn’t be paid internationally. -$50 later, I’m collecting wallpaper.
A lot of things I like and have bought are offered through clickbank, so essentially I’ve been recommending them for free, but now that they’ve added the option to get paid directly, I’d like to be able to earn a bit of money to put towards things like software or scripts to add new, neat features to the site. Plus it’s always nice to get something in return for the hours you put into a project like this.
So, enter “Project Clickbank”. For 3 months straight, I want to earn enough that they spin me off a cheque. I’ve dropped my payout limit to something like $25, and I’m going to throw in bonuses and giveaways to anyone who buys through my clickbank links. As I mentioned, I won’t actually be cashing any of these cheques, it’s just so I can meet the criteria to START getting paid directly.
For the first 3 people who help me out this month, buying ANYTHING $17 or more through my links, I’m going to send them a copy of the $97 subliminal video “$5k per day”. This is the one I used at the start of the year when it looked as though I was about to lose my job – that 30 day trial ended up with me transferred to a new location where I’m working with a fantastic team, happy to go to work and appreciated for what I do. That’s not even mentioning the other ‘manifestations’ like a huge 32″ monitor for about half the RRP, and a run of really weird weather. I plan on digging it out again for another 30 day trial in January, but with a different focus this time.
So, I’ve put this mini-quest ‘out there’ via twitter and a couple of forums, so I’m hoping it won’t take long for 3 people to come forward and help me out.
