30DMT Day 5: African Healing and a Time Crunch

I don’t know where the time’s gone. Friday today, last day for the week at the day job, but since I’m now supposed to wind up my placement it turned absolutely MAD. Very glad I’ve been destressing this week, or my hair would be pretty frazzled by now. Aside from all the stuff that all needs to be done simultaneously, somehow, it’s times like this that systems love to crash, data goes missing and bizarre things start occurring in your Word documents…

Today I decided to do something different. It was an early morning again, even more so since I had a conference call across the tasman scheduled for 6am. But I didn’t feel like yet another morning on the bike, so I used an exercise DVD I have of ‘African Healing Dance’. Even without the little counter thing to judge how hard I worked, I still ended up pretty wet by the end of it. I ran out of time to do the meditation (so saved that for a break at work). Ran out of time for the conversation (had to bolt for the shower) and did a 15 minute miracle dash to be ready on time.

Checklist:

  • Manifestation course:
    • Morning routine –> Done, 40m without the meditation part. Did that later. 1hr all up.
    • Daily Awakening exercise –> Tried, didn’t. All these exercises – this, the email and the book, are all so similar it seems like duplication. Hard to feel motivated to do them all when you’re running behind.
    • Daily Email exercise –> Again, didn’t really fit into my day, especially with it ending up so mad with work. As above, tried.
    • 5mins of handbook –> Didn’t manage to do this one either. Worked late, came back to the local club, didn’t get home til late and then after tea spent time with my partner.
    • Daily 15m ‘goals’ walk –> This really isn’t looking good, is it? Nope here too.
  • Watch $5k per day Subliminal Video at least once daily, preferably twice –> Got this up to 3 times. About the only thing I did right today…
  • Work on my Mind Movie and BWE track in week 1. –> Sorry, no.
  • Play Mind Movie, once or twice daily, once completed –> Not yet. By Sunday I hope.
  • Spend at least 1hr/day on my PC at home, to allow Motivator & Subliminal-Power software some time to work on me. –> Done but was just on some urgent errand stuff. Didn’t get any more done on mind movie.
  • Blog update in evening –> I’m managing this one, but only just.
  • BWE track before sleep –> I think I would have been even worse off getting up early without this. It’s turning out a lifesaver while I adapt to the routine.

Keeping the entry short today. Thought I hadn’t done too badly, all things considered, until I considered all things in the checklist. The morning call running over really threw me, and the chaos at work kept me off balance as well. We’ll see how well I get back on track tomorrow.
